Hey, that’s a good article – and a subtitle could be that “all women believe the lies”, when they say that they are not dressing that way to please and excite a man – it gives them a sense of power (it’s sexual, girls,), and is NOT of equality or “we are not an object of your sexual excitement” – really! Otherwise, like you say, they would dress the same way. Men and women ARE different…

No, it was from LA to Vegas. Didn’t add the vegas part in the post before. We took 6 hours from frisco to LA too, and no, at that time we weren’t pulled over.

Three hours from Frisco to LA? No wonder your friend was pulled over twice, greater wonder your friend wasn’t pulled over more often!

It usually took me between five and six hours, depending on traffic, to get between the two.

Gw membaca buku ini dengan kesadaran bahwa ini adalah kisah nyata. Setidaknya itu yg gw liat di wawancara tokoh2 yg ada dlm buku ini di acara Kick Andy, ada Bu Mus, A Kiong, Mahar, Syahdan, Harun, Samson dan Andrea sendiri yg dipanggil si Ikal. Sayang tokoh Lintang tidak diwawancara. Dan setahu gw Andrea memang awalnya menulis lebih sebagai memoir bergaya novel yg dipersembahkan untuk Bu Mus saat Bu Mus sakit keras.

Dan buku ini buat gw memang dahsyat, bukan karena gw merasa terinspirasi oleh buku itu, tapi justru karena buku ini merefleksikan sebagian hidup gw. Gw seperti Ikal (alias Andrea) yg berusaha sekolah setinggi mungkin sebagai balas dendam atas nasib yg menimpa bokap gw yg brilyan seperti Lintang tapi putus sekolah karena sebagai anak lelaki tertua harus menanggung hidup adek2nya.
